I snore. I snore so badly that I wake myself up at night – never mind my poor partner who is not happy about the noise and sleep disturbance. So I decided to try this snoring mouthpiece to see if it could solve my problem. I read a few Good Morning Snore Solution reviews and most of them weren’t that great, but I decided it had to be worth a try anyway.

anti snoring mouthguard reviews

The idea behind the Good Morning Snore Solution mouthpiece is that if your tongue can’t fall backwards and block your throat, you won’t snore. I liked the fact that it didn’t look as cumbersome as some of the other devices I’d seen. After all, you don’t want to go to bed looking like Darth Vader.

What happened next

I was really pleased with myself when my stop snoring device arrived. I was really looking forward to trying it out and resolved to write a great Good Morning Snore Solution review if it worked, which I obviously hoped it would. I opened the package and got my first disappointment: the materials really didn’t look particularly good-quality. “No problem” I thought “if this anti-snoring device really works, I don’t care if I have to buy a new one every so often.”

At bed time, I popped it into my mouth and it felt really weird, but I thought I’d get used to it after a while. After a bit of tossing and turning, I dropped off to sleep. My partner nudged me awake because I was snoring. Disappointment number two: the device had fallen out of my mouth and was lying next to the pillow. It obviously wasn’t going to work there, so I rinsed it off and popped it back into my mouth.

My partner nudged me awake again. I was snoring. And here’s the biggest disappointment of all: I was snoring with the device still securely in my mouth! Still, I refused to give up – even if it just reduced my snoring it was going to be an improvement and I remembered reading a Good morning snore solution review that said it had at least done that.

When I woke up in the morning, my mouth and especially my tongue really ached, but I was determined to get the best out of my purchase, so that night, I tried it again! Report back on night 2: I had a mild sleep apnea attack and woke up because I’d stopped breathing. It fell out of my mouth AGAIN. I snored. My mouth hurt.

This was turning into a pattern, but 3rd time lucky, right? Wrong! I was coming down with a cold, and my nose was a bit stuffy, but I hoped I’d be able to breathe through my mouth around the mouthpiece. I couldn’t! Now I wasn’t even sure if what I had thought was sleep apnea was just me trying to breathe through my mouth in the night! Anyway, I decided to abort the trial until my cold was over. But I’ll admit, I was losing hope.

Conclusion

It hurts my mouth, it hurts my tongue, it falls out, I still snore, and did I mention it? I drool all over the place while I’m using it. Time for my next adventure with another device.
