There are so many anti-snoring devices out there nowadays! Which of them works best, lasts longest and gives you a good night’s rest? Do you choose a chin strap, a comfy pillow that puts you in the right position to eliminate snoring or a mouth guard that fits onto your teeth pushing the jaw forwards?
The factor that makes your choice so tricky is the fact that all of these devices work according to similar principles. By keeping the jaw in a forwards position, the airways are kept open, and in most cases, snoring is reduced, if not completely eliminated. It’s the ultimate quick fix. Advance the jaw, and your snoring stops from day one. There are even those who say that after a few months, you get so used to sleeping with your jaw in the correct position that you can do away with the device altogether.
I’ve spent a great deal of time on evaluating anti snoring devices through first-hand accounts and references to scientific research. What is the best anti snoring device on the market? That’s up to you to decide, but my research has indicated two clear winners. Feel free to read all the stop snoring device reviews I’ve compiled, or simply view my final results in the table below.

- SnoreLess Pillow
For many of us, sleeping in the right position is all it takes to stop snoring, but even if you go to sleep in the right position, you wake up lying in the wrong one! This pillow trains you to sleep in a position that keeps the airways open, and it’s super-comfortable at the same time. Again, mouthguards proved to be a turnoff from the comfort perspective, while this pillow is sheer bliss. Find out more by reading my full review – here.
And the rest…
Confining the jaw from the inside out and/or restraining the tongue works for a great many people, so I won’t knock these products if you think they may be right for you. The theory is good. However, in practice, many people struggle to sleep well with something in their mouth, and if you want to drink water or speak, your mouthguard will have to come out first. A lot of people experience jaw pain in the mornings after wearing these, and others talk about excessive salivation and drool spots on the pillow.
Additional limitations stem from mouthguards’ unsuitability for those of us who wear dentures or have capped teeth, so if this is you, don’t even consider a mouthpiece.
I investigated a wide range of anti-snoring mouthpieces including:
Zyppah
Zquiet
SnoreRx
PureSleep
Good Morning Snore Solution
